Lecha Dodi (2021)

An unaccompanied work for SATB choir. The text comes from a popular Friday night prayer by Shlomo HaLevi Alkabetz and is often set to a variety of different tunes—some ancient and some modern. This melody is influenced heavily by other Ashkenazi tunes to the same poem. Version also available for TTBB choir.
