The Passionate Shepherd to His Love (2022)

A Baroque-inspired work borrowing heavily from Salamone Rossi’s Sonata sopra de la bergamasca for two violins and continuo. This piece is scored for two violins, three singers, and continuo, with the violin parts taken exactly from Rossi’s work and the text from a Christopher Marlowe poem.
